I booked a series of 6 lessons to help me regain swimming ability after a prolonged absence from the water. Every lesson was a positive and helpful experience. In particular, Lisa was an excellent teacher. The pool water at the Apollo Hotel Basingstoke was clean and not too cold, even though the changing room lockers etc need an overhaul. I'd recommend SwimExpert to anyone, young or old.

My Son has swimming lessons with Donna , she is very knowledgeable and makes the lessons fun but also pushes him to improve constantly and this is shown by how much he has come on

Jan was great in really refining my technique. Initially i was not able to swim more than 50 metres without being entirely out of breathe, whereas now I can do laps of 500 metres relatively consistently. This is only after a couple of weeks of lessons too, so i would highly recommend.

Omar has been a great instructor for my 5 year old granddaughter. He is immensely kind, caring and manages to make every lesson fun while ensuring she makes good progress. She thinks he swims as well as her favourite pufferfish! We will miss him.

My kids’ first time to try swimming lesson. They’re both scared of being on the water/pool but their instructor made them comfortable. I’m worried they might not even try getting on the pool but to my surprise they enjoyed it and wants to do it again! Thanks to the lovely and friendly instructor

Second swimming lesson for my son I am amazed how he’s coming on. Georgia is brilliant. Joe is really enjoying it.

After only 4 lessons 2 with Evie and 2 with Roan, I swam the equivalent of a width on my back with no float or help today. Both are really patient teachers and I hope to go from strength to strength. Not bad for a 63 year old who couldn't even float.

Have a great relationship with our coach, Luke. My kids have been going for 2-to-1 classes for about 6 months and I can see great improvement. Luke is absolutely fantastic. Kids love going. Coach is kind and great on teaching my kids to deal with water, learning in fun way. Really fantastic. The customer service is also helpful and the rebooking classes comes in handy. The location is beautiful but staff on the hotel makes you feel unwelcomed and as if they are doing a favour and never happy as if we are a bother to guests. SwimExpert could use of a more friendly environment to match to such great staff.

Very easy lessons with Luke. Explains in way which is easy to put into practice and has helped my technique massively. Would definitely recommend him and SwimExpert.

My son has swimming lessons in Bristol with both Jan & Nikolas - his swimming has come on brilliantly & his confidence has grown so much. We love the way that both instructors get the best out of him, they are super helpful & build him up by focusing on the positives rather than any negative points about his swimming. My son loves coming to the lessons & is keen for more! Jan is particular is really focused on encouraging him to be the best he can be & is excellent at liaising with us as parents asking us what it is that we want from the lessons too.

As a complete non-swimmer adult and having never been comfortable in the water from the outset Rob has been great at building my confidence as well as my technique. The continued experience is enjoyable as well as instructive and I’m continuing to learn new skills. All the staff from my initial enquiry and booking of lessons via phone to Rob the instructor on a weekly basis SwimExpert have been friendly, informative, and supportive and I cannot recommend SwimExpert enough to anyone looking to learn.

I've never been a confident swimmer but Lily has been brilliant at helping me to discover the joy of being able to swim. Lily has been a patient and able teacher and has enabled my amazing progression over the last few lessons to a point where I feel much more capable in the water.
