My children attend lessons in Stratford Upon Avon Welcombe Hotel. Rebecca is one of the best swimming instructors I have come across. My two children are both neurodiverse and require very individualised instructions. It took just one lesson with Rebecca to pull out the best swimming abilities I've seen in my children. My 5 year old went from not wanting her head to touch the water to being fully submerged in the pool within the first 30 min lesson. She has a natural ability with children that makes them feel safe and confident in the water. I could not be happier with the lessons.

Booking 1:1 lessons for my 5 Yr old was so simple. Once a slot became available the actual process itself was very straightforward. You get your own portal so you can track progress. I was hoping to get Luke as an instructor because he came highly recommended. While you don't get a choice which instructor you get, I was very happy to have Luke teaching my daughter. After one lesson, it became very apparent why my friend recommended Luke. He explains everything so easily to my daughter and he makes the lessons fun and informative. We are about 6 lessons in now and my 5yr old cannot wait for her lessons to come round everyweek. While I'm sure other swim expert instructors are good but if you get Luke, rest assured, you onto a winner.

A really enjoyable introduction to swimming for a beginner like me. Luke was a brilliant tutor, very patient and explained everything clearly. After 3 lessons I now have much more confidence in the water!

Lessons with Jan M in Bristol have completely transformed my 9 yr old’s feelings about swimming. He dreaded school swimming lessons for days in advance and made no progress at them. He agreed to a single trial lesson with SwimExpert only but immediately liked and trusted Jan M and was happy to do more. His progress has been incredible and he now considers swimming lessons to be “fun”. He could not swim at all when he started. He has now done a total of 15 lessons with Jan and can do the full length of the hotel pool using front crawl or back stroke. The lessons are expensive but Jan’s individual approach and being in the pool to demonstrate and support mean that my son has made more progress in months than I would expect in years with group lessons with the teacher instructing from outside the water. He works hard for the entire 30 minute lesson. He is either listening to Jan’s instructions or carrying them out for the entire lesson.

Our daughter now has lessons with Charlotte and is doing brilliantly. Charlotte is kind and patient and our daughter looks forward to her lessons each week!
