Been taking my child to swimming lessons here for the past few years and has come such a long way to swimming. The current teacher Alex is excellent, gives clear instructions and most importantly encouragement to all the children in the class and will help if any don’t quite get it. Would most certainly recommend others

Isaac taught my daughter in her swimming lessons which she really enjoyed and built up a good rapport with him. Isaac is a great teacher - would recommend him.

Alistair is a really good instructor, he is kind, patient and knowledgable. Alun our son who is 4 has come on leaps and bounds in the time that he has been swimming with him. I can’t recommend him highly enough, whilst the lessons are somewhat expensive swimming is such an important life skill, they are well worth the money. Alun’s confidence in the water is unrecognisable from when he started 14 lessons ago, and he is even able to swim short distances unaided now. Alistair makes sure that every lesson is fun as well as developing key skills.

Jan is a fantastic teacher and my son has made brilliant progress, going from a not very confident swimmer to being really confident swimming the three main strokes. He loves the lessons and Jan gives really positive encouragement but is clear on how to improve and gives useful tips and tuition all through the lessons. Jan is always reliable and polite and get feedback on how the lessons have gone. Swim expert as a company are easy to deal with too and book on their website to keep a track of lessons.

Lovely quiet, clean pool and one to one lesson with Chris was great. The children had fun and learnt a lot.

My son has made great progress with Eloise B in the short time they have had together, we will be sad to see her leave for Bristol but wish her all the best for the future. A great instructor who quickly creates a trusting bond with the student and gives detailed feedback to parents for a full understanding of where the child is on the swimming journey. A top instructor.

Great experience with Pav, gave great instructions, was patient and made learning to swim, relaxing and fun.

My older daughter learned to swim here with Ciaran. She now happily swims with her face underwater, does handstands in the pool etc. which is amazing given she couldn't put her face in the water when she started. My younger daughter is now learning with Sean. She's a very intense young lady (awaiting various diagnoses) and not great at being compliant when she's scared. Sean has been so amazingly patient and understanding with her. He gets the balance right of when to push her vs when she needs to keep it simple. I am very grateful for him and the lovely way he treats her. The company itself has mostly been great too. We did have some issues where we kept getting different instructors. But the company was keen to make sure we were happy and we're happy to switch us over when we had an instructor who wasn't working out.

I am having 1:1 lessons in Reading with Fern. She is the most patient teacher I could hope for. As a learner, aged over 70, I am very fearful of water and really struggle to have confidence in myself. I know with Fern's kind structured support I will one day achieve my goal.
