I was terrified of going into the pool. Elizabeth on my first day made me feel so comfortable and gave me the confidence and I was able to keep coming back.

Our little girl has been swimming now for about a year. Her teacher Lisa B has been amazing threw out her journey. Our little lady has Autism, developmental delay and SEN. Lisa every week is so kind and patient with her with a great mixture of swimming and playing. Last week for the first time my little lady swam just a couple of strokes all by herself. This is a massive achievement for my little lady. Lisa has worked so hard with her gaining her confidence and encouraging her to stay focused giving her clear simple instructions.

I've never been a confident swimmer but Lily has been brilliant at helping me to discover the joy of being able to swim. Lily has been a patient and able teacher and has enabled my amazing progression over the last few lessons to a point where I feel much more capable in the water.

As a complete non-swimmer adult and having never been comfortable in the water from the outset Rob has been great at building my confidence as well as my technique. The continued experience is enjoyable as well as instructive and I’m continuing to learn new skills. All the staff from my initial enquiry and booking of lessons via phone to Rob the instructor on a weekly basis SwimExpert have been friendly, informative, and supportive and I cannot recommend SwimExpert enough to anyone looking to learn.

My son has swimming lessons in Bristol with both Jan & Nikolas - his swimming has come on brilliantly & his confidence has grown so much. We love the way that both instructors get the best out of him, they are super helpful & build him up by focusing on the positives rather than any negative points about his swimming. My son loves coming to the lessons & is keen for more! Jan is particular is really focused on encouraging him to be the best he can be & is excellent at liaising with us as parents asking us what it is that we want from the lessons too.

The ease of booking caring team to make the lessons work for the client / pupil The teacher -specialist in my case Colin introduced ease straight away- his experience in people knowing how to praise never showing that person’s performance could be low.

Thanks, Ching has been teaching James my son for some time now, he has taken him from a boy who was not confident in the water and scarred of water on his face to a boy that can swim and go under water without any fear. We still have a way to go but we couldn’t have got this far without Ching.

My son has Autism and Adhd , and he doesnt really feel comfortable with other people and dont follow instruction that well. However Ingrid really did a great job. We see improvements every week . We have used SwimExpert on two occasions. Both times we booked 10x 1:1 sessions for our 7 year old son (in 2023) and 5 year old daughter (still ongoing, 2 lessons left when writing this review). They both started with confidence in the water and in the lessons they focused on techniques. My son can now confidently swim across the 15m pool with one stop and my daughter just started swimming with aid. Highly recommend SwimExpert, they adopt their lesson plan according to the child's abilities and progress. They make it fun and enjoyable. Added bonus that the water temperature is nice and warm most of the time. Wanted to say thank you to Aimee and Jan who have done an amazing job.

We’ve recently changed teachers, and have had a great experience so far with Dawn, based at the Hythe Imperial, Hythe, Kent. She’s extremely patient with our children, and very organised and supportive. She’s always at the lesson on time & prepared. We’ve been really impressed!

Learning how to swim in my 50s was a daunting task but one that I had to overcome as I knew swimming was a life-time skill to be enjoyed by all but somehow, I was just unable to learn while at school. I summoned up the courage and booked a block of 10 Lessons with Clare W and right from the very first lesson, even though I was extremely nervous since I hadn’t been in a pool for the past 30 years or so, I knew I had made the right decision. Clare’s an amazing instructor, she made me feel at ease in the water before the end of the first lesson and furthermore if at anytime I struggled with any part of the weekly lessons, she found a way to make it easier for me to understand and then try again and that’s a very special skill set to have! After 5 (1hour sessions) I can’t believe how comfortable I feel in the water, I can breathe underwater and float and I’m almost at the stage whereby I can do a basic front crawl without the floats – for me this is such a huge step and I’m so glad that I have had the opportunity to learn this invaluable lifetime skill with Clare W as my instructor, who I highly recommend. I now plan to book another block of 10 sessions with Clare W in the nearby future through SwimExpert. Thanks Clare W and thanks to SwimExpert – it was the right decision and also the perfect choice for me!
