I booked adult swimming lessons with Christian T due to my fear of water and having no prior experience swimming. He has been amazing at helping me overcome my fear of water (it was gone after the first 30 minutes)! He is calm, encouraging and supportive - I have learnt so much and made a lot of progress in just 4 lessons. I strongly recommend him as a swimming teacher for anyone as he is best teacher I have ever had.

Our 9yo son was originally served for 2-3yrs by another excellent SwimExpert instructor at the BrentfordNovotel pool. His schedule changed this spring, so Pedram A picked up this time slot. Pedram is gentle yet highly effective instructor. When we arrived a few weeks ago, Pedram was just finishing a lesson with a child who has additional needs. Both his body language and quiet instruction communicated so much dignity to this child and his carers. We couldn’t have known it, but our son was ready to learn from a new instructor and we’ve seen *AMAZING* progress over his past 10 lessons. Our son does so.much.work. in a 30min lesson. He has a great time while doing it, too. And a couple weeks ago he felt so proud when Pedram informed him that he’s passed L5 and they’ve begun working on L6. Good stuff all round!

I was very scared of the water to start with but not only did I learn how to swim but now my confidence has grown in the pool. She is very patient and has superb teaching skills as-well as being intelligent, knowing each clients needs. I highly recommend her & swim-expert. I learnt in Reading Novotel Hotel which was an added bonus because it’s a clean lovely pool & friendly staff.

My son is learning with O'Brien. He is an absolute professional - patient, knowledgeable and approachable. He has taken the fear out of swimming and is supporting my non-verbal, autistic son to learn - an incredible achievement and he really is one of the best instructors out there.

I want to share my experience of swimming lessons with this company. I am 56 and always been petrified of water. I joined swim expert initially having lessons with Darren who focused on getting me in the water and being comfortable. Due to my pool having works done, I then had a break and returned to lessons in February with Caitlin. She has been amazing really tailoring my lessons to me and giving me weekly goals to progress. She has been fantastic, encouraging and supportive throughout. I can’t thank her enough for teaching me a life skill - I was a wobbly customer and she has helped me overcome this. Today I have swam unaided simply as she put her arm out for support. I still can’t believe that I have started to swim. I’m so happy and so very grateful for her amazing compassion and teaching skills. Whilst in the changing room a young girl was waiting to have a lesson and I shared with her family how wonderful she is. I just can’t thank her enough she is brilliant!

Matthew has been absolutely amazing in helping our 7 year old with his confidence. His swimming has come on incredibly, he's swimming independently and loving it. Swimming is now something he enjoys and wants to do. I couldn't recommend Matthew at SwimExpert enough!
