Britain climbing the medals table at World Deaf Swimming Championships

With a team of 15 swimmers, Great Britain  are climbing the medals table at the World Deaf Swimming championships.   The championships started on Monday, and run through to Saturday, with live streaming available at their website http://www.wdsc2015.us/

GBR are in 7th place with 1 gold and 4 bronze at the championships which are being held in texas. This medal haul includes a gold and a bronze from 19 year old Danielle Joyce, who won the 100m backstroke in a time of 1.06.35, and came third in the 200m backstroke with 2.27.67.

Russia are leading the medal table with 31 medals, 13 of which are Gold.

Tomorrow, which is the final day, the heats will be at 9am-11am(4am-6am GMT), finals at 3-5pm(10am-12pm GMT) , and then the closing ceremony will be at 7:30 til midnight (2:30pm-7pm GMT)

It is able to be live streamed on the world deaf swimming website if you fancy taking a look, but we will be doing a summary of the whole event on Monday.
